Terms & Conditions 2009 – 2010
At NuLook Beauty we thrive on our level of high customer service. In order to maintain this level of professionalism please read carefully through the terms and conditions.
A Booking refers to the bride, groom or member of family who books services from NuLook Beauty. Booking refers to your wedding, engagement or any other formal event booked for NuLook Beauty’s services. Client refers to the bride or bridal party who make the booking. Contract refers to booking sheet which outlines complete details of client’s bookings.
BOOKINGS
1) NuLook Beauty guarantee to send the make-up artist or mehndi artist of your choice but in the unfortunate event of accident, sickness or other such calamities NuLook Beauty will ensure that another professional make-up artist or mehndi artist of the same calibre is sent out directly to you.
2) All bookings are secured only through deposits on a first come first served basis.
3) It is the duty of the booking party to ensure that all members booked on their wedding date make payments to NuLook Beauty in full upon completion of booking otherwise the booking party become liable to make payment of any outstanding amounts.
4) Additional people other than the bride must be booked no later than 24hours prior to the event otherwise no guarantees can be made to complete the booking, although every endeavour will be made to do so.
5) Travel & Hotel arrangements, where a makeup artist is required to attend from an evening before, a bedroom in the wedding house can be arranged or a hotel booking must be made.
6) Travel; although travel is inclusive of your booking fees, there are discretionary charges for bridal bookings where there is exclusively the bride. International bookings please enquire within for costing’s.
7) All trial moneys are non-refundable under any circumstances.
DEPOSIT
1) A deposit, photograph and two forms of proof of address will be required upon making a booking at NuLook Beauty. This deposit will be half of the total amount agreed to pay.

3)Payment of a deposit is considered adherance to NuLook Beauty’s terms & conditions, all terms and conditions are to be found on NuLook Beauty’s website.
PAYMENT
1) All payments must be made with cash on the day no cheque is accepted on the day of a booking.
2) At the end of each event payments must be made for services rendered. We request that payments are made promptly after services are rendered, so please make adequate arrangements for this.
CANCELLATIONS
1) In the event of postponement of wedding - deposits can at times be honoured until a new date is set for your wedding; though this is discretionary by management
2) Any cancellations made after the initial booking, deposits will be retained by NuLook Beauty
3) if a cancellation is made 8 weeks prior to the wedding date the full balance of the wedding package will be sought unless the booking date can be filled. However NuLook Beauty will take this at their discretion.
4) Additional guests wishing to get services performed must be listed at least 48 hours prior to the event with NuLook Beauty. NuLook Beauty reserves the right to charge for any shortfall on the date of the wedding of the listed guests.
5) Additional guests wishing to cancel services booked must do so at least 48 hours prior to booking, if additional make-up artists have been brought out to complete these services then NuLook Beauty reserve the right to charge for these services.
ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
1) NuLook Beauty reserve the right to use photographs for personal portfolios
2) NuLook Beauty reserve the right to use pictures of brides selected for the use of online portfolios. If brides do not wish to for their pictures to be used for web based portfolios please state so in writing at the time of returning your contracts. There are no penalties should brides choose not to allow the web based use of select pictures by NuLook Beauty.
3) NuLook Beauty reserve the right to refuse bookings, should the management feel that it is in its best interest to do so.
POLICY
1) It is NuLook Beauty’s responsibility to ensure bookings are taken first come first serve regardless of booking size.
2) NuLook Beauty will at all times ensure that clients are kept up to date with any changes, via phone, text, mail or email whatever is considered suitable.
3) NuLook Beauty will ensure that clients are provided the makeup artist of their choice for their booking however should the makeup artist not be available clients will be notified prior to the booking to enable clients to make a choice as to whom they wish to book.
